Shelley Johnson, an Alexandria native, and Lizette Smith, a New Orleans transplant, have teamed together to bring you Southern Chic. Taking inspiration from the black and white awnings of our Jackson Street location we’ve brought that elegance inside and created a unique shopping experience.

A glimpse inside the doors of Southern Chic (pronounced “sheek”) will reveal such lines as  the elegant Michael Wainwright and Tamara Childs, the fun Girlfriend hand painted glasses and Fine Whine accessories, the fabulous LaLavande French soaps  and  the chic Magenta and Eco glass tableware, just to name a few. Inspired by the revitalization of Alexandria and its new youthful exuberance, we have discovered some fresh innovative lines that are guaranteed to shake up any decor and add that certain something, that certain Southern Chic.

In striving to make your gift giving efforts a little bit easier, we have something for everyone – college grads, mothers, fathers, friends and of course the bride.
