Collection: Bitsy Pillow Collection

This delightful, one-of-a-kind collection is a product of craft and creativity. Southern Chic owner, Megan Lord, hand-picked vintage fabric for this project from her husband's Granny's sewing stash. Granny, better known to her friends as Bitsy, loved pretty patterns, and she had an eye for vintage fabric. Many of these remnants were marked with handwritten notes detailing where the fabric was purchased or from what family member it was retreived, most of it dating from the 1930s to the 1950s.

After sorting and gently laundering each fabric remnant, Megan worked with friend and talented seamstress Ary Deaton, to create a pillow collection that brought to life the unique details of every pattern. Ary has sewn each pillow with care and craft, giving this well-loved fabric a new use for the next generation to love and appreciate.
